Psychologie Senn – The Psychology manufactory

For me, psychological work is a craft.

A craftsman works on a physical structure.
A psychologist works together with the client on the inner house of the human being.

The carpenter creates supporting structures –
in psychology, this corresponds to inner stability and grounding.

The roofer protects the house from external influences –
psychologically, this is about protection, boundaries, and resilience.

The painter shapes the atmosphere and appearance –
in psychological terms, this relates to emotional climate, self-image, and how one presents oneself to the outside world.

The plasterer smooths damaged surfaces,
the mason repairs the masonry –
psychologically, this is about healing wounds and rebuilding inner structures.

The joiner works with precision and individuality –
in psychology, tailor-made solutions emerge, developed together with the person.

Especially in times of crisis, many people feel:

“Everything in me is in disorder.”
“I have lost the ground beneath my feet.”
“Something has collapsed.”

Just as a house sometimes needs renovation,
our inner structures also require care, repair, and reconstruction.
